Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data JobsManager handles, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short and in plain words.

Who we are

JobsManager is made by Autonomous BV, Waversesteenweg 136, 2500 Lier, Belgium, VAT BE1010.281.922. Questions about your data: [email protected].

Two roles

  • We decide (controller) for the data of visitors of this website, people who contact us, and the people who use JobsManager (their account and billing).
  • We work for our customers (processor) for the data of job applicants. A company that uses JobsManager decides why and how long it keeps applications. We only store and process them on its behalf. Applicants who want to see or remove their data can ask that company, or us, and we pass it on.

What we collect, and why

Visitors of this website

This website uses no cookies and no tracking. Our servers keep short technical logs (like IP address and the page asked for) to keep the site safe and working. They are deleted after about two weeks.

The contact form

Your name, email, company and message, to answer you. We keep them as long as needed to help you, and at most two years.

People who use JobsManager

  • Your name and email, to log you in (with a login link by email) and to send you notifications you chose.
  • One cookie in the dashboard that keeps you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • When you pay: your company name, address and VAT number for the invoice. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.

Job applicants (on behalf of our customers)

  • What applicants send: name, contact details, CV, motivation and answers. CVs are stored privately and only opened by the company’s team.
  • Careers sites use no cookies. Visits are counted anonymously, per day.
  • When a company uses AI screening, the job and the application are sent to our AI provider to get a suggestion. A person always decides. Applicants are told about this on the apply form.

Who helps us (subprocessors)

  • Amazon Web Services: our servers and file storage, in Paris (France).
  • Cloudflare: protects our websites and makes them fast.
  • Twilio SendGrid: sends our emails (United States, with EU standard contractual clauses).
  • Google Cloud (Vertex AI): the AI that writes and screens, only when a customer uses it.
  • Stripe: payments and invoices.

We never sell personal data, and we don’t use applicant data to train AI.

How long we keep data

  • Account data: as long as you use JobsManager, and up to 30 days after you leave.
  • Applicant data: as long as the company keeps it. Companies can delete applicants, with their CV, at any time.
  • Invoices: as long as Belgian accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, move or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Write to [email protected] and we answer within a month. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Changes

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. Important changes are announced by email to our customers.
